Accommodation for visiting Rioja wineries

Stay in Logroño, the capital of Rioja wine, and visit wineries every day: some are inside the city, and the best-known ones in Rioja Alta and Rioja Alavesa are less than an hour’s drive.

Logroño is the easiest base for a wine break: visit a winery in the morning, have lunch in a village among the vineyards and come back for a pintxos dinner on Calle Laurel, about a 10-minute walk from the apartment.

Without leaving Logroño you have wineries such as Campo Viejo, Marqués de Murrieta, Ontañón and Olarra, about 10 minutes by car. In Rioja Alavesa, Laguardia and Elciego are about 25 minutes away, and Haro, with the century-old wineries of its Barrio de la Estación, about 35.
